Pacify is a multiplayer horror game developed by Shawn Hitchcock, creator of the Emily Wants to Play. You are the new hire for a company called PAH (Paranormal Activity Helpers). Your task is to explore an abandoned house while you’re pursued by a mysterious young girl who haunts the place.

Premise
‘To pacify’ is defined by dictionaries as a verb meaning: ‘to quell the anger, agitation, or excitement of.’
As a member of PAH, you’re investigating an abandoned house to find evidence of supernatural activity. As you search the building, you will encounter a strange girl who will either act gently towards you and your teammates or become hostile.
Different triggers within the game will cause her to switch between good and evil; once she turns evil, she will hunt you.
The game’s goal is to pacify the evil force and escape from the house once it’s resting in peace.
Multiplayer

It’s possible to finish the game by yourself in single-player mode. Most of the fun, however, is found in playing with a friend.
In Pacify’s Co-Op mode, you and a team of up to three players work together to survive, similar to other 4-player, co-op survival games like Devour, or the critically acclaimed Phasmophobia. Working together, you’ll gather clues. You can also help each other by interrupting an enemy whenever they catch one of you.
The game also has a PvP mode where four players will compete to appease the mysterious girl and escape the house with the most pieces of paranormal evidence. In this mode, you can knock other players down by pushing them.
Our take
Pacify is a survival horror game developed by a one-person development team.
Although Phasmophobia is acclaimed as the better 4-player co-op horror game and is more polished (even featuring VR compatibility), Phasmophobia does have a larger team behind its development.
Pacify is still under development; however, it manages to hold its own against other survival horror games (despite some of its technical shortcomings) and still shows a lot of promise.
